How the subsidy program works
Families are matched with approved community providers in their local area who share our values of inclusive, high-quality care. Our network spans the GTHA and Ontario, offering real choice in how services are delivered: in clinic, at home, or in the community.

What a subsidy can cover
1:1 Applied Behaviour Analysis
- Individual ABA therapy delivered through a partner provider.
Group and social skills programs
- Peer groups that build communication, play and connection.
Parent coaching and caregiver education
- Strategies families can use in the hours between sessions.
Remote and community-based services
- For families outside easy reach of a clinic.
Who is eligible
Who is prioritised
- Families currently on OAP or private waitlists with no active therapy funding. Households with a total income of $150,000 or less are prioritised for ongoing and individualised programs.
Open to all eligible families
- Some programs, including the Low-Cost Summer Camp and PA Day respite, are open to all eligible families on a first-come, first-served basis, regardless of income tier.
What your child needs
- A confirmed autism diagnosis, a referral from a developmental paediatrician, or to be actively in the assessment process.
Eligibility and income tiers are set by the foundation and reviewed periodically. If your circumstances sit near a threshold, apply anyway and tell us in the form.
Work out your estimate
The subsidy estimator walks through the RISE streams and shows the subsidised family rate for each, then sends your application to our intake team.
Our partner network
One of our founding partners is Mount Etna Child & Family Services, with locations in Toronto, Oshawa and Bowmanville. Additional partners are joining from urban, rural and Indigenous communities to ensure equitable access.
