“Early intervention is the best investment we can make in a child’s future. It helps them develop essential communication, social, and adaptive skills during the years their brains are most responsive to learning.”
— National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (2024)

Join Our Cause

Embers for Access was created to bring a new level of flexibility and support to essential services for neurodivergent children. In response to the growing need for resources and the limitations on funding, we founded to ensure that children with neurodivergence receive early care and attention.

Get Involved

Every act of generosity helps bridge the gap for children waiting years for essential therapy.
When you give, partner, or collaborate with the Embers for Access Foundation (EAF), you become part of a growing movement that ensures every child — regardless of circumstance — has a chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

Families in Ontario are waiting an average of five years for support through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).¹ During that time, critical early intervention opportunities can be lost — a window research shows can make a lifelong difference.²

By getting involved, you’re not just funding therapy — you’re helping children build their first friendships, say their first words, and gain the confidence they need to shine.

For Sponsors

Corporate sponsorships play a crucial role in sustaining the EAF Subsidy Program. Your contribution directly helps fund therapy sessions, family coaching, and community-based inclusion initiatives.

We offer several sponsorship options — from event sponsorships (like Glow & Gather Holiday Market and Sensory-Friendly Pancakes with Santa) to long-term partnership packages with recognition across our clinics, websites, and community events.

Why sponsor EAF:

  • Demonstrate meaningful corporate social responsibility

  • Engage directly with local families and community programs

  • Support equitable access to autism and developmental services

  • Receive charitable tax receipts for eligible donations

We also welcome customized sponsorship opportunities to align with your organization’s mission and brand.

To discuss sponsorship opportunities, please email info@embersforaccess.org.

For Donors

Your donation — no matter the size — fuels real change.

Each contribution goes directly toward connecting families with essential therapy and early intervention supports, reducing the impact of long waitlists and financial strain.

  • Every $1,000 supports one month of subsidized 1:1 therapy.

  • Every $15,000  funds a year of therapy for one child.

EAF retains 20% of all funds to sustain program operations and allocates 80% directly to family subsidies through approved partner providers.

All eligible donations receive a charitable tax receipt once EAF’s charitable status is finalized (anticipated late 2025/early 2026).

To make a donation or learn more about our giving programs, please contact info@embersforaccess.org.

For Providers

We are building a province-wide network of therapy and educational providers who share our values of evidence-based, compassionate, and neurodiversity-affirming care.

Becoming an approved EAF Provider means joining a collaborative system that allows families to access your services through subsidy funding — helping to close the gap created by OAP delays.

Providers in our network may include:

  • ABA therapy clinics

  • Speech-language and occupational therapy practices

  • Early intervention and developmental specialists

  • Inclusive educational programs and recreation services

As an approved provider, you’ll be featured in our community directory and connected directly with eligible families.

Interested providers can contact info@embersforaccess.org for an onboarding package and partnership discussion.

For Community Partners

Community partnerships help us bring awareness, inclusion, and connection beyond the therapy room.

We welcome collaborations with schools, local businesses, event organizers, and community centers to help share resources, host fundraisers, or create inclusive events that celebrate every child’s potential.

Whether it’s displaying flyers, co-hosting events, or running donation drives, every partnership helps keep this mission alive.
